Nội dung
City Hunter được chuyển thể từ bộ truyện tranh Nhật Bản nổi tiếng cùng tên của tác giả Tsukasa Hojo. Câu chuyện nói về một thám tử tư tên Ryo Saeba chuyên đấu tranh chống lại những tội ác tồn tại trong thành phố Tokyo vào những năm 1980. Đây là lần đầu tiên bộ truyện tranh sẽ được chuyển thể thành phim truyền hình sau 13 năm. Bộ phim sẽ mở đầu tại thời điểm 2011 ở Seoul thay vì những năm 1980 tại Tokyo theo như nguyên tác.
